Del 14 al 17 de marzo se ha celebrado en Calatayud la fase nacional de la Olimpiada Matemática Española y el equipo de la Comunitat Valenciana vuelve con 4 medallas: 2 de oro para Dan Vancea y Carlos Villagordo, ambos de Estalmat CV, 1 de plata para Carlos Calderón y 1 de bronce para Elena Boix, también de Estalmat CV. Dan y Carlos viajaran a Bath (Reino Unido) en Julio para participar en a International Mathematical Olympiad.
